Hatzalah South Florida proudly provided full medical coverage for the Hanukkah celebration in Sunny Isles Beach, where several hundred community members gathered to celebrate.

The event was organized by Rabbi Alex Keler of the Russian Chabad, and Hatzalah worked alongside the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department to ensure a safe and joyful evening.

During the event, Director Andre Roitman had the opportunity to connect with Miami-Dade Commissioner Micky Steinberg and Mayor Larisa Svechin to discuss future collaboration in support of community safety.

A night of light, unity, and community.

Hatzalah South Florida was honored to be at the Hebrew Academy today, teaching the students about who we are, when to call in an emergency, and giving them a hands-on tour of our ambulance. Educating our community’s children today helps keep everyone safer tomorrow. 🚑

Hatzalah leadership — Directors Andre Roitman and Chaskel Bennett, together with HSF EMS Director Chief Jeff Levy — met this week with Palm Beach County Emergency Management leadership as part of HSF’s ongoing expansion and integration into the county’s emergency response system.

With Hatzalah’s growing presence and expanding resources across South Florida, HSF leadership greatly appreciates the productive, high-level discussion with Mary Bakeney, Director of Palm Beach County Emergency Management, and Richard Ellis, Deputy Director. This engagement marks another important step in strengthening coordination and enhancing emergency services for all communities in Palm Beach County.

HSF looks forward to continued collaboration and future opportunities to serve together.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we reached our goal, raising over $500,000 for Hatzalah South Florida! 💥🎉

🚑 That’s more ambulances on the road. More responders on call. More lives saved.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank every single donor who stood with our 300+ volunteer EMTs and responders.

As we enter this new year, may it be one of health, happiness, and peace. And may you always feel the comfort of knowing Hatzalah South Florida is just seconds away.

🍎 Shana Tova U’Metuka from all of us at HSF.

💔 A father in Aventura collapsed during dinner.

His heart stopped.
His wife called Hatzalah.
Three minutes later, we arrived.
And we shocked his heart back to life—with an AED just like the one you can sponsor today.

🧡 That father is still with his family—because of one device and one donor.

This Rosh Hashana, you can be that donor.

Every call. Every second. Every life depends on the equipment we carry.

Hatzalah South Florida is in constant need of these critical devices that are in every EMT responder’s bag. They’re not given to us by the government or any other organization. We rely on generous donors like you to fund them every year.

This Rosh Hashana, you can help place these critical devices in the hands of a Hatzalah South Florida responder 🚑.

Hatzalah South Florida Activates For CAT 4 Hurricane Helene

While Florida was bracing for a direct hit from Hurricane Helene, Hatzalah South Florida Special Operations Division deployed their HSF Rescue Strike team to the storm region and assisted local communities with emergency medical response and evacuations as needed. HSF is in close communication with the local Jewish communities that were affected by massive storm surges and deployed its recently acquired highwater vehicles and emergency storm resources along with a team of paramedics and EMT’s to respond where needed.
