Thanks to your incredible generosity, we reached our goal, raising over $500,000 for Hatzalah South Florida! 💥🎉

🚑 That’s more ambulances on the road. More responders on call. More lives saved.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank every single donor who stood with our 300+ volunteer EMTs and responders.

As we enter this new year, may it be one of health, happiness, and peace. And may you always feel the comfort of knowing Hatzalah South Florida is just seconds away.

🍎 Shana Tova U’Metuka from all of us at HSF.

💔 A father in Aventura collapsed during dinner.

His heart stopped.
His wife called Hatzalah.
Three minutes later, we arrived.
And we shocked his heart back to life—with an AED just like the one you can sponsor today.

🧡 That father is still with his family—because of one device and one donor.

This Rosh Hashana, you can be that donor.

Every call. Every second. Every life depends on the equipment we carry.

Hatzalah South Florida is in constant need of these critical devices that are in every EMT responder’s bag. They’re not given to us by the government or any other organization. We rely on generous donors like you to fund them every year.

This Rosh Hashana, you can help place these critical devices in the hands of a Hatzalah South Florida responder 🚑.

Hatzalah South Florida Activates For CAT 4 Hurricane Helene

While Florida was bracing for a direct hit from Hurricane Helene, Hatzalah South Florida Special Operations Division deployed their HSF Rescue Strike team to the storm region and assisted local communities with emergency medical response and evacuations as needed. HSF is in close communication with the local Jewish communities that were affected by massive storm surges and deployed its recently acquired highwater vehicles and emergency storm resources along with a team of paramedics and EMT’s to respond where needed.

Hatzalah South Florida is proud to have been awarded at the annual Salute To Our Heroes event in Aventura.

It was an honor to be recognized together with some of our partner agencies, including MDFR, MBFR Hollywood Fire and Aventura Police Department at an event coordinated by the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce (AMC)

LOOK BEFORE YOU LOCK

• A child's body temperature rises three to five times faster than an adult's.

• When a child is left in a vehicle, that child's temperature can rise quickly and the situation can quickly become dangerous. Heatstroke begins when the core body temperature reaches about 104 degrees.

• Make it a habit to check your entire vehicle - especially the back seat - before locking the doors and walking away.

• Place a personal item like a purse or briefcase in the back seat, as another reminder to look before you lock. Write a note or place a stuffed animal in the passengers seat to remind you that a child is in the back seat.

Act Fast. Save a Life.

• If you see a child alone in a locked car, act immediately and call for help. A child in distress due to heat should be removed from the vehicle as quickly as possible and rapidly cooled.

• A moment of forgetfulness typically causes most hot car deaths — and all it takes is one minute for that oversight to become fatal.
