How do you determine if a chandelier is old, crystal, nice etc. Wondering what to do with this.. It is pretty indeed but no longer fits our home/dining area. Edited to clarify: I have 3 small kids, 4-9months, we dont use the formal dining space and could use the room - the chandelier hands too low to walk under.

I doubt you'll know what this is, unless you're a veteran with some age on your side!

I got my new appliances, and thank God the great delivery guys actually took the stupid cupboard down that was behind the refrigerator because the new one was taller and would not fit. Talk about a panic attack, but I gave each one of the guys 100 bucks and he completely took the cupboards down that were above it. Now I’m trying to figure out what to do with that unpainted space do I put the cupboards back up but offset them and we know they’re worthless you can never put anything in them. I’m really not sure what to do with that dead space that’s painted white with some red and some yuck.
