Telemundo launches The Playmakers, a national platform celebrating the leaders and ideas shaping the next era of sports. From athletes and owners to executives, investors, creators, and community builders, The Playmakers highlights Latino leadership and the diverse perspectives driving the future of the game.

The inaugural event will take place on December 3 in Washington, D.C., ahead of the FIFA World Cup 26™ Final Draw. The event will be hosted by iconic Telemundo sports broadcaster Andres Cantor and will feature U.S. Men’s National Team Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino as keynote speaker in a fireside chat with Emmy-winning sports anchor Miguel Gurwitz.
