Pierre is a Haitian-American mixed media artist whose work transforms the ordinary into the mystical. In her work she creates otherworldly beings called "poupées"—fierce, hybrid creatures that emerge from collaged fragments of history, pop culture, and mythology. In Bowling For Medellín,  .co narrates in first person, the surreal horror about the war on drugs growing up in Medellin in the 80's. Where Drug Sicarios with alias names such as Pokemon, Popeye, Rambo, dive into a neverending network of carnage and violence. This piece was part of   Miami inaugural exhibition during  2023.
