In a shocking decision, the FHSAA has decided to allow High School athletes in the state of Florida the ability to sign NIL as of the 2024-2025 academic school year.

NIL stands for "Name, Image and Likeness", meaning an athlete can official receive monetary value for any services rendered or use of their likeness. Examples are: signing of memorabilia, appearing in a video game, promotion of products.
