Some men stop taking care of themselves not because they don’t care — but because life, identity, stress, culture, pride, and survival often pull them away from themselves. For many men, especially as they age, health becomes reactive instead of proactive.

Here are some of the biggest reasons:

* They become consumed with work and responsibility
* They put everyone else first
* They stop feeling inspired
* They normalize pain and fatigue
