My mom recently passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was always my best friend, so I was there every step of the way while she battled the illness.

After she died, the day of the will reading came. It turned out she left all her money (about $5 million) to my brother and my aunts despite them visiting her only when they needed financial help, like paying their bills.

Everyone got something while I got nothing. I was broken, but the lawyer said, "Your mom loved you more than anyone," and gave me an envelope.

Of course, the room gets quiet, and the greedy bunch all look hungrily at the letter. I opened the envelope and saw everyone's jaw drop to the floor. There was an address and ⬇️

I'm 34, and my parents wouldn't stop nagging me about being a spinster and never getting married. They tried setting me up with everyone, desperate for grandchildren. JOKE OF THE DAY: An old couple had been married for 50 years. Every morning (without fail), the man emitted an echoing burst of gas when he got out of bed and then laughed like a madman. Also, every morning, his wife would admonish him: "One of these days you're going to burst your guts out."

It's Thanksgiving morning. The old man is sleeping in, and the old lady is in the initial steps of preparing the turkey. While she has a handful of turkey innards, she gets an idea:

She tiptoes up the stairs and into the bedroom. She carefully pulls back the waistband of her husband's jockey shorts and loads him up with warm turkey guts.

An hour later, the woman hears him stirring. She hears his feet hit the floor and the expected boom-laugh sequence. The laugh stops abruptly and is followed by a scream and then 10 minutes of utter silence.

I’ve been driving a garbage truck for years. It’s not glamorous, but it’s honest work, and I’ve always been proud of it. I keep the streets clean and provide for my family—that’s what matters. Or so I thought, until the night before Career Day at my son Kevin’s school.

When I told Kevin I was planning to attend, his reaction caught me off guard. He seemed uneasy, almost panicked. But no matter how strange it felt, I knew I couldn’t miss such an important event in his life. The next day, I showed up and took my seat in the parents’ section.

As I waited, a man in an expensive suit walked over and introduced himself. He mentioned that our sons were friends and said Kevin talked about me a lot... I was pleasantly surprised—until he said something that stopped me cold: “Kevin told everyone you own a waste recycling company.”

My stomach dropped. It became painfully clear: Kevin was ashamed of my work... Admitting the truth now would expose Kevin’s lie in front of everyone. Anxiety churned in my chest as I tried to decide what to do. But before I could figure it out, the teacher’s voice cut through my thoughts.

“Next up, let’s hear from Kevin’s dad! Could you please join us on stage?”

Harry's voice suddenly boomed from the bedroom while everyone was still enjoying their breakfast.

"Why can't you ever do anything right? You sit at home all day doing nothing," Harry blurted out. "Is it too hard to remember one simple thing? All you do is Blah Blah Blah and NOTHING at home."

"Harry, stop this," she pleaded. "The kids are watching. You're scaring them."

"You know what? I give up...I can't handle this crap anymore. You can never be a good wife if you can't do even a simple thing for me."

Harry dressed up in a random suit and stormed out of the house, grabbing his briefcase.

Harry presented his project successfully. He checked his phone on his drive home and was surprised at not seeing Sara's calls or texts. She usually sent a sorry voice message every time they fought. But this time, there was none.

"I'm home!" Harry called out, tossing the keys on the table. But there was no answer, except for his own voice bouncing off the walls.
"Where's everyone?"

At 69, I was sitting in the doctor's office when he hit me with a question that knocked the wind out of me: "How did you manage to father three sons when you're infertile?"

Stunned, I asked, "What are you talking about, doc?"

He explained my condition, saying it was medically impossible for me to have fathered any children. I was in complete disbelief.
