So American Express tempted me to upgrade with the offer of a metal credit card made partly out of an old jumbo jet. Therefore, I’m doing my part to save the planet by recycling. Do any other dullsters have a credit card with a cool story behind it? Male, 50, shoe size 11 to 11 1/2. Credit card for scale as I don’t have a handy banana.

I found my car's twin! Look at the number plates. What are the chances? Not only that, but we both work in the same hospital, both working the weekend shift. A lot of stars aligned for this moment to happen.
Yes I deliberately parked next to it for a photo, I saw a dull opportunity and grasped it.

EDIT*** This is not a company car like a lot have suggested. This isn't photoshopped, why would I do that? And people claiming to have seen this exact post before all over the Internet are lying since I only took this photo on the 9th August and have only posted it on this group just now!
Also people talking about a cage being visible in the back - that's the car park window to prevent people from jumping out them, it's not in the cars lol.
Also - the letter "I" isn't used in the UK for number plates, but we do use the number 1.

Someone called me “DULL” today when they found out that I have been with my wife since 5th grade…legally married for 20 years. Technically married for 27 years if you count the “promise ceremony” she made me participate in during 8th grade so she’d let me get to 2nd base.
Little did I know I’d still have this many years to get to second base…
With so many other things that make me dull, I never considered this part. Am I dull? If so…I’m definitely dull but happy 🤗

So, I'm at a cabin air B&B with my wife for our anniversary and cross paths with these light switch blockers. I'm almost 40 years old and have NEVER seen anything besides tape used for this.
(Or an electrician to wire it properly 🤣🤦‍♂️)

My Wife found this amazing wooden object at an estate sale. It was so uninteresting she was sure I would want it and she was right, I did. I wanted to use it for storing model aeroplane paint but alas, only the Tamiya paint will fit and I'm too cheap (and too far from a shop) to switch brands now. I tried removing a shelf so as to have every other one available but it is held together with brads and the wood is too strong to just break. I couldn't get a cutting tool in there that would do the job.
It's now sits in my "useful" stash mocking me from the corner. Any clever ideas?
