"When Congress enacted the ADA, it made minimum standards in order for people with disabilities to have access to the entire community," said Matthew Dietz. "And when you decrease those standards, you're in effect violating federal law."

Dietz is a professor of law and clinical director of the Disability Inclusion and Advocacy Law Clinic at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. He is handling the litigation pro bono along with his students.
