Mommy and Me Mukbang on a Monday! 😂🤣

I cooked traditional Lao food for the boys (hubby, brothers and cousins) retreat at .lodge this past weekend.
Prepping takes a huge amount of time in Lao cooking. It's all the methodical slicing and dicing that sets the tone of how each dish will taste. I enjoy cooking as I find peace in the rhythmic motion of the whole process. It's my "me time" to connect to my culture and reflect on my own thoughts and feelings. This was a 45 minute video compilation that I edited into less than 2 minutes. I also am cooking without gloves (please don't come at me😆) since I didn't have it yet but the second part you'll see blue gloves😂 and different angles cause my niece arrived and started to video me. I tell you what though!! I give so much props to content creators who constantly set up their phones to video and then spend a lot of time editing. Even though it was less than an hour of filming, that hour slowed me down in the kitchen because I had to take time setting up where and how to place my phone. I just need a lot of practice, but I hope you enjoy getting a glimpse of how I cook.
