"NEEDLE DROP" is an all vinyl LP show hosted/produced by veteran NW Indiana radio personality TOM LOUNGES, airing Sundays 6-9pm CST on WIMS (AM-1420, 95.1FM, 106.7FM) and streams at: www.wimsradio.com. The musical focus of "NEEDLE DROP" is a "free form" rock radio program with a weekly play list blending well known songs, with deep cuts, forgotten classics, and brand new artists/releases by a myr

iad of music artists of various musical genres, with an emphasis on rock and blues. Rockin' Riley, the marketing guru of Tom Lounges Record Bin, brings new music in each Sunday to spotlight and introduce to the WIMS-AM/FM listening audience during a special weekly segment during the three hour program. Riley also takes listener's calls and banters with Tom about music, concerts and topics at hand. The program will incorporate trivia, interesting facts about music, contesting, and occasional guest DJs from the music and business community sitting with Tom. Audience requests are also encouraged and calls are taken during the broadcast of the program.

During HOUR THREE of tonight’s “NEEDLE DROP” radio program, my the musical guest is guitar great ALEX LIFESON, who is world renown as the co-founder and guitarist of the Canadian power trio RUSH.
Our time together will focus on his new musical group -- ENVY OF NONE -- and we will be joined on the program by the band's lyricist and lead vocalist MAIAH WYNNE. Several songs from the group’s second full length album "STYGIAN WAVZ" will be featured.
