8 years ago today, I unknowingly DJ’d my last set at 11th Street Rodeo Bar. The bar was packed that night for our weekly Festie Friday event that featured music-festival-style DJ sets, blacklight face painters, and LED flow artists. We celebrated our friend Shelby’s birthday and threw a night to remember. A few days later, we all learned that Rodeo Bar would be closing its doors for good.
Now, 8 years later, I’m releasing the recording of my DJ set from that night for nostalgia, and to celebrate Shelby’s birthdays once again!
This recording is the original, unedited mix, so you will hear some drunken shout-outs on the mic, and Ian’s infamous “Last Call for Alcohol!”
