Good morning brothers and sisters,

1 Corinthians 13:4 LEB...
"Love is patient, love is kind, love is not jealous, it does not boast, it does not become conceited,"

We've all read this, but we tend to slip a bit at times, I know I do. Patience, or long-suffering...a tough one. This is where us giving grace comes in. Not jealous... God gifts us differently to compliment each other so that we're not jealous. Not boast in anything except about the strength and grace of the Lord. Conceit or haughty or prideful...only in the humility of Christ can we not be conceited. Being grateful for all things as from God will keep us humble. All for His glory and honor.

Jeremiah 29:11 LSV...
For I have known the thoughts that I am thinking toward you—a declaration of YHWH; thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give posterity and hope to you.

A great verse for encouragement. Let's look at the key words. God knows the thoughts for us for peace, prosperity, and hope. A peace that surpasses all understanding (Phil 4:7), prosperity in the Kingdom (Isaiah 24:15), and hope (Romans 15:13). Gods promises will always come true.

We read this verse and have peace...peace in the trials, light through the storms, and hope in our daily life. There are so many words that God wrote so that we can get through life on this planet wherever we are. He promised us so that we would not feel oppressed or depressed. Can this verse free you of your trial today? I believe it can, and should. Your not alone if you're a child of God. He promises that. Be assured and be hopeful.

Good morning my family,
Psalms 112:5 NKJV...
A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion.
This time of year may either harden us, or soften us, in reference to lending and giving to someone who is not in the normal plan. This one is for me too. This time of year, more so than any other time, is when we show Jesus's love more freely. We may get irritated when someone unexpectedly asks us for help financially. Stop and pray about this. When we hold back, we do not show God to a friend or a brother. But when give freely, we show His love in and for us. We may have been at that point at sometime in our lives. Remember who God sent to help you back then. Convicted? Yea, me too, but it needs to be addressed. If you have it, give it. If it's a squeeze for you to give it, give it. God gave us His Son. We can tighten our belts a little more to help someone who is in need.

Good evening everyone. You know, we all have things that we hold onto that direct our paths, shape our character, help us make decisions. There are many valuable verses in the Bible. They seem like common sense at times... because they are. They give direct answers as well as provide wisdom.
Several years ago, I assigned these 9 verses as a devotional assignment. I chose them because they ground me. Sorry for the long post. I feel someone needs to read these.

(1 Timothy 6:1–9, ESV).

[1] Let all who are under a yoke as bondservants regard their own masters as worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and the teaching may not be reviled. [2] Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful on the ground that they are brothers; rather they must serve all the better since those who benefit by their good service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these things. [3] If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, [4] he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, [5] and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain. [6] But godliness with contentment is great gain, [7] for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. [8] But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. [9] But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.

Good morning my family,

Galatians 3:27-28 LSV...
for as many as were immersed into Christ put on Christ; there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither servant nor freeman, there is neither male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus;

In the Kingdom, we're all the same with different roles and gifts. What you're wearing is not your heart. What they're wearing is not their heart. If God looks at our hearts, why don't we? Everyone situation is different. Everyone deserves the opportunity to accept and receive Jesus. We're quick to judge on first impression, but we need to love on first impression.

Good morning brothers and sisters,

Psalms 119:175-176 LEB...
Let my soul live that it may praise you, and let your ordinances help me. I have wandered like a lost sheep; seek your servant, because I do not forget your commands.

These are the last 2 verses in Psalm 119. They are appropriate. These words should speak to us deeply. All those years we searched to fill the home in ourselves. When we found Jesus, we became filled with Him. We hold onto Him so we don't lose that feeling. Sometimes we do, but we pray and find it, and Him, again. Let's strive not to lose God's commands. They give us love, hope, peace, and joy.

I pray you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Psalms 119:162-164 LEB...
I am rejoicing over your word, like one who finds great spoil. I hate and abhor falsehood; I love your law. I praise you seven times in the day for your righteous ordinances.

I pray that we praise God more than 7 times a day as David says he does here. It's seems like it's not much, 7 times, but if you think about it, we probably don't. It's a starting goal. Let's strive to increase that to 70 times 7.

Good morning my family,

Psalms 119:154, 156 LSV...
Plead my plea, and redeem me, Quicken me according to Your saying. Your mercies [are] many, O YHWH, Quicken me according to Your judgments.

We all pray in our redemption. Gods mercies are never-ending. Biblical quickening is to make alive or give life to, referring to spiritual regeneration and future physical resurrection. If we are quickened, we should walk in victory in Christ always. These verses give us more reasons to love God.
