The 3rd event of the 2026 FLOATIN DOWN THE DOAH SERIES went off with a 💥BANG💥once again this past weekend from ALMA - 211 Bridge that included some nice mixed bags of river largemouth and smallmouth AND a very scenic section of the river ‼️‼️‼️

The bite started off tough for everyone I’d say as we were all weeding through the “non-scorable” fish section it didn’t seem to pick up with those more quality bites until about half way through the day but when it did boy did the guys absolutely hammer em🤯🤘🏼‼️ The local guys Brian and Chance Rhinehart “the page county boys” were able to start stacking some biggins and took a commanding lead which stayed put all day finishing up with 89.50” on the day and big fish honors with a 20.50 inch smallmouth that weighed 4 lbs even🤯🔥🤘🏼‼️

Coming in second we had Gibson Price and Kolin Pugh the “Bass Bandits” who were able to put up another solid back to back performance to get in the top 3 and get some points on the board for the season finishing with 69.25” 🔥🤘🏼‼️

Coming in third was Cole Miller fishing for the “Hamilton Hoodlums” with yet another solid performance keeping his team stacking points shaking up the tournament standings as we speak fishing with a close 67.75” to round out our top 3‼️

The third event of the FLOATIN DOWN THE DOAH 2026 SERIES is set to kick off next weekend on Saturday MAY 16TH from ALMA - 211 BRIDGE lines in the water 7am lines out 2pm🤘🏼‼️

We will have two launch points available for this event you will be able to float from the bridge to the park or from above the bridge at a private launch down to the swinging bridge whichever you want to do carpooling will be available from the park after the event once you register message me for launch point coordinates and then decide and let me know where you plan to fish from the morning of🤘🏼‼️

All photos must be taken on tourneyx app and all pictures must be clear with fishes mouth closed come out and join us for some fun and see if you can get lucky to take some one of the awesome sponsor donated prize packs 🔥‼️‼️‼️‼️

Matt’s back with another VA CITATION smallmouth 🔥🤘🏼‼️

The spawn is in full swing here and the fish are on beds there’s still some time to get after a few that maybe haven’t popped yet but this big ole girl still met the requirements for length after only weighing 3.5 lbs 🤯 which means she clearly has already done her thing 😂‼️‼️

The second event of the Floatin down the Doah’! Series went off this past weekend and let me tell you it was nothing short of a BANGER we had the most fish entered in an event yet in the 3 years of doing the series with a majority of the fish being 17+ inches and the top 8 teams having almost 70+inches a piece 🤯🤘🏼‼️

Cole and Sam were able to get back in that winners column with a solid bag of Shenandoah smallmouth with none under 17 inches in their bag🔥🤘🏼‼️ Justin and Josh Shaffer were hot on their heels coming in a close second by just a couple inches anchored by the big fish on the day caught by Josh in the first 15 minutes of the event which ended up staying put for the rest of the day coming in at 20.25 inches 🤯‼️ Newcomers Brian and Chance Rhinehart Weren’t going down without a fight as they stayed in the top three all day battling it out and were actually the first team with 5 fish on the leader board but couldn’t find just one more big bite to cull that last fish out bringing them just a couple inches short from from second place to bring home that 3rd place position 😱🤯‼️

2nd place( 2 points) 🥈- Justin and Josh Shaffer = 85.50”

🚨P.B. ALERT🚨

Went down to the new river/claytor lake this past weekend for my bachelor party and Co-founder of the SVBB Devin was able to hook into his new personal best smallie on Saturday coming in at 20 inches and 4lbs checkout how dark that fish is 🤯🤘🏼🔥‼️‼️‼️

This one fell victim to the RIG from tossed into an eddy below the rapids and BOOM right where she was supposed to be congrats on an awesome fish brother stay tuned for more coming your way we had a blast and there’s more to come although our fishing trip did turn into a drinking trip with all the guys pretty quick 😂🤘🏼‼️‼️
