Stopped by in Middletown, Delaware before Christmas to experience the holiday magic, drawn in by the towering inflatable Christmas decorations. They beckoned me…

And of course I got some desserts and hot cocoa while I was there, and I can’t wait to go back! 🎄

It’s time to feast with the fishes 🎄

That’s not a threat, it’s just Christmas Eve and that means it’s time for the Feast of the Seven Fishes! 🐠

For anyone who might not know what that is, it’s an Italian tradition including seven courses of, or seven types of seafood. There is religious symbolism, but most importantly it’s about family and celebrating together.

I went with my friends to for a pre-Christmas Seven Fishes celebration, and had an incredible time. I love this place so much, and this Christmas pre-fix menu was absolutely wonderful. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection, and beautifully paired.

If you want to add a little magic to your Christmas Eve, call them and make a reservation for tonight ASAP to take part in the festivities! ✨

Chicken & Boba is all I need in life 🍗🧋

I love the location near me in Dover, Delaware. I tend to get the same thing over and over — chicken tenders or wings, and the Black Diamond Milk Tea or Coco Watermelon Slush.

Now that they’ve opened a new location in Milford, I decided to go off their recommendation and try something new! I got the Spicy Chicken Wrap with fries, a side of Broccoli Cheese Bites, and a Mango Milk Tea.

The wrap was pretty solid, I’d definitely order it again. I’m a little bit of a wuss when it comes to spice but it definitely had some great flavor and it wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy.

I’m also obsessed with their fries because they have that layered looking battered crispy quality which is my absolute favorite, and they’re straight up addictive.

I’m not a big mango person, but I still loved the Mango Bubble Tea. It’s bubble tea, you can’t go wrong.

One of the reasons they’re my favorite boba spot is because they make their boba like pro’s. It’s the perfect super soft, lightly chewy texture with a really nice, light caramelized flavor.

You really cant go wrong at Chicken House so go check them out in Dover and Milford and let me know what you get!

You had me at barbecue & cocktails 🥩

I came for the food, stayed for the vibes. And… you know, more food. I was thoroughly impressed by and I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

I think I found another favorite pizza & Italian spot 🍕

That first bite of their pizza made me feel like I was back in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn, I already know I’m going to be back for more. It was so good, even the other Italian specialties we ordered from the pastas to the calamari and even the salad did not disappoint.

Their menu is pretty extensive and they do catering as well… I’m not going to lie I’m tempted to cater in for the holidays. Why cook when someone else can do it better? 🤣

The suffering just makes it taste better ✨

They said the Thai Curry Mussels at were out of this world. It was a fantastic recc… and this is how I repaid them. 😈

For real though, I’m not even into mussels like that and I’d go back for these. And the oysters, of course. 🦪

Tis the season for shoppingggg!!! ✨

I don’t know about you, but I love trying to do as much of my holiday shopping as possible at craft fairs so I can support some local vendors while I’m at it.

The Holiday Market at .is.scout.cafe in Wilmington, Delaware was the perfect opportunity to do so, and of course I got to treat myself to a lovely Rosemary Maple Latte while I was at it.
