Some moments are accomplishments. Others become part of your legacy. ❤️

In 2025, I was honored to be recognized as an Honored Listee of Marquis Who’s Who in America. Now, I am incredibly grateful to share that in 2026, I will be included as an esteemed profile in the 79th Edition of Marquis Who’s Who in America print publication.

I have been thinking about what this means beyond the recognition itself.

It means the Boyce name and a piece of my life’s work will become part of a published record. It means that one day, someone in my family may come across those pages, see our name, and know that I was here. I led. I created. I served. I persevered. And I tried to do something meaningful with what God placed in my hands.

That is legacy.

I am learning not to rush past the moments God allows me to experience while reaching for what is next. This one deserves to be celebrated.

So today, I am grateful. I am proud. And I am still becoming. ❤️

LET’S GO.

I took this picture today, and at the time, I just knew it felt like it meant something.

Tonight, I understand why.

The Empowered Leader is getting closer to launch. My professional platforms are changing. The way I present my work is changing. The rooms I’m preparing to enter are changing.

But perhaps the most important change isn’t happening around me.

It’s happening within me.

And I’m realizing that what is beginning to show externally is simply catching up with what has already been forming internally.

There are seasons when growth is quiet. You don’t necessarily have an announcement for it. There isn’t always one defining moment when you can say, There. That’s when everything changed.

You simply keep becoming.

And eventually, your decisions start reflecting it.
Your boundaries start reflecting it.
Your voice starts reflecting it.
Your positioning starts reflecting it.
Your work starts reflecting it.

Then one day, you look around and realize:

The outside is beginning to look like what’s been happening on the inside all along.

So today, the shirt said exactly what needed to be said.

LET’S GO.

“I never want to write about leadership as though I have arrived.”

Because I haven’t.

I’m still learning, still growing, still reflecting, and still encountering moments that require me to apply what I believe.

This week reminded me that being empowered does not mean being flawless. You can be experienced and still learn. Confident and still examine yourself. Decisive and still reflect.

That isn’t weakness. That’s growth.

And leadership isn’t limited to a title or workplace. Every day, we are leading ourselves through decisions, relationships, opportunities, transitions, and new seasons.

So this Saturday morning, I’m reflecting on one question:

What are you still learning about yourself in this season of your life?

Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep becoming.

Today is sacred.

I’m celebrating my healing anniversary, God’s grace, and the gift of life.

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ…”

2 Corinthians 2:14, NKJV

I share my story because it is not mine to hide. It is meant to give someone else hope.

When I walked through cancer, I surrendered to God while still believing I would live. I made Him a promise: if He brought me through, I would use my life to empower, encourage, and uplift others.

This is that promise lived out.

I do not take my healing for granted, and I will not be silent about what God has done.

I did not die to cancer.

I lived.

And I was becoming her all along.

Happy Healing Anniversary to me. 🤎

If this testimony gives you hope, please share it with someone who needs a beacon of light along their journey.

I am honored to share that I am once again a published contributor to Influential Women.

My second article, “The First Stewardship: Why Leading Others Begins With Leading Yourself,” explores a foundational truth: Before we can effectively steward people, purpose, or responsibility, we must first learn to steward ourselves.

I now understand that being myself is not something I need to minimize or apologize for. It is part of my stewardship.

Thank you to Influential Women for welcoming me into a community where the collective voices, experiences, talents, and leadership of women are creating meaningful impact.

RETURN.

We often think of returning as going backward.

Returning to a place we wanted to leave. Returning after disappointment. Returning after failure. Returning to something we hoped we would never face again.

But what if return isn’t about going backward at all?

What if return is one of the greatest signs of growth?

The truth is, return looks different for everyone.

For some, it’s returning to a dream they once put on hold. For others, it’s returning to a relationship with healthier boundaries, returning to their purpose with renewed confidence, or simply returning to themselves after a season of feeling lost.

Whatever your return looks like, one thing should always be true:

You don’t return the same.

If you’ve had the courage to stand, the willingness to protect what matters, the discipline to process what you’ve experienced, and the wisdom to move forward with intention, then you’ve gained something along the way.

You return with greater clarity.

You return with greater strength.

You return with greater purpose.

You return empowered.

That is why I believe return isn’t a step backward. It’s evidence that the journey changed you.

The journey was never about becoming a different person. It was about returning as a more empowered one.

As I close this five-part series, my hope is that these principles stay with you long after the posts are gone. May they remind you that every season has a purpose, every challenge has something to teach, and every return is an opportunity to lead, live, and love from a place of greater strength.

✨ As you reflect on your own journey, where are you returning, and how has the journey changed you?

Self-care has a way of bringing you back to yourself. 🌺

When you give yourself permission to pause, rest, and experience joy, something within you begins to come alive again. Your inner beauty shines a little brighter. Your energy is renewed. Your creativity awakens, and you reconnect with the passions that may have been buried beneath responsibility.

Self-care is not simply about how you look. It is about how you feel when you have taken the time to replenish your spirit.

Sometimes, the glow we see on the outside is simply the reflection of a woman who has taken the time to recharge from within. ✨

Leadership has never been about proving my own greatness.

It has always been about helping others discover theirs.

The leaders who impacted my life didn’t simply manage my performance. They saw potential I hadn’t fully recognized in myself and created opportunities that stretched me beyond what I believed I could do.

That experience shaped how I lead today.

I don’t believe the goal of leadership is to create dependence. I believe it is to cultivate confidence, create opportunities for growth, and develop people until they begin to recognize the gifts they already possess.

Sometimes the greatest gift a leader can give is to hold up a mirror until someone recognizes the strength, worth, and potential that has been within them all along.

That’s the Empowered Leader Way.

Experience doesn’t automatically produce wisdom. Processing does.

We often hear that experience is the greatest teacher. I believe experience is the opportunity—but processing is what transforms that opportunity into wisdom.

Two leaders can walk through the exact same challenge. One repeats the pattern. The other grows from it.

The difference isn’t the experience itself.

It’s whether they took the time to process it.

Processing allows us to separate facts from assumptions, emotions from discernment, and reaction from intentional leadership. It creates the space to ask better questions, gain greater clarity, and make wiser decisions.

I’ve learned that wisdom isn’t something we simply accumulate over time. It’s something we cultivate by reflecting on what we’ve experienced and allowing those moments to shape how we lead.

That’s why I believe processing is one of the most overlooked disciplines of leadership.

Experience doesn’t automatically produce wisdom. Processing does.

How has taking time to process a situation changed the way you lead?
