What a great start to the day. Headed down to East Lansing bright and early to run the in IZZO family legacy 5K. It was a warm day and dealt with those darn side cramps (which have only happened in mile two and I don’t know why) but improved my time overall from the st Patrick’s race so I’m happy. 15 months ago I couldn’t have run a 1/4 mile so progress is being made. The running community is so supportive and my beautiful wife is my biggest fan. It’s great to be able to share these races with my oldest daughter as well.

Another day brings me to another job at a great event. This time I find myself at the Temple Theatre in Saginaw, mi for three days to cover the Eat Great Festival. This is the first year it’s indoors and boy did they choose a beautiful venue.
