Shalon and her family are truly special. For years, I was Shalon’s hairstylist, and during every two-hour appointment we talked nonstop. God knew exactly what He was doing when He placed us in each other’s lives. Watching her family grow has been such a blessing and a constant encouragement.

And can we talk about how incredible the Midkiff lot looks right now? What was once a drainage area we ran through during cross-country practice back in 2006 has become one of the most beautiful family photo locations in Midland, Texas.

Thankful for another busy season and the sweetest clients. The weather has been so nice that we’ve had a few extra weeks for fall family sessions, and I’m squeezing out every ounce of the fall foliage while it lasts.

Whitney K Photography is partnering with to host a food donation box in support of Mission Agape with the Female Entrepreneurs of Midland November food drive. Mission Agape provides weekend food bags to 1,800 children across 21 campuses every week — and together, we can help stock their shelves for local families in need. 💛

We’re collecting kid-friendly, non-perishable items such as:
• Chef Boyardee micro-cups
• Mac & cheese micro-cups
• Chicken ramen packets (not cups)
• Pudding or applesauce cups
• Pop-Tarts (any flavor)
• Small fruit snack packs
• Rice Krispy treats
