What a week!! Traveled North to South and East to West all around Texas documenting your stories. From 20th anniversaries to pigs flying around Mineral Wells.

Feels like I’m living in a country song. Miles of blacktops, truck stops, and tucked away corners of Texas. Wandering through the most beautiful spaces all with a camera in hand. Talk about blessed and highly favored!!

I may have lost a lens this weekend but I gained some incredible memories! My 28-70mm took a HARD tumble on the concrete right at the start of the concert I was covering. Thankfully I had my 70-200mm with me and honestly it was what I was wanting to use but didn’t know if my wrist could handle the weight for an event. Left my flash in my room while switching lenses so that was a bummer. But the night ended with a top tier experience that was a full circle moment starting back from my days at Angelo State.

Truly grateful for this past week and all of the unforgettable experiences!!

You see the heart?

Twice I’ve been on walks with branding clients and they’ve stopped to take a picture of hearts in nature explaining it’s their God wink. These encounters are undoubtedly God ordained.

Saturday evening after a big wedding a friend and I went to war for our areas. We stood together in prayer against some heavy duty weapons trying to form and boy did that stir things up. And frankly you would think I was bananas if I told you what all happened. But God showed up. He was there. He was present and the battle is already won.

Praising hard through every bit of this last decade or so. As the song sings, “Our bodies are bruised but our souls are aren’t hurt and now we see this place won’t be the same. We will come out of the fire with more faith. And now we will sing.”

Thank you LORD for your protection, love, and mercy.

Thank you, prayer warrior, for answering that prayer request immediately. Grateful for friends who stand in the gap, prepared for battle.
