🚨 Brides, beware of the “Paid in Full” scam! 🚨

We’re seeing a rise in vendors (especially photographers, videographers and Djs) offering huge discounts if you’re willing to pay in full upfront , most often at booking. While it might sound like a great deal, many of these are scams!!

Here’s what’s happening:
💸 They collect full payment quickly with the promise of a discount
🚫 Then deliver very poor work / or more commonly we are seeing, don’t show up at all on the wedding day
📉 By then it’s too late and nearly impossible to recover your money. Some even change their business names afterwords.

They do this to collect a big payday from unsuspecting brides and grooms all at once, with no intentions of showing up. Thats why they are “such a bargain” - it’s free money for them.

👉 Legitimate professionals typically follow standard payment structures with deposits, receipts, and clear contracts. If someone is pushing for full payment at booking, especially with a big discount attached, take it as a red flag.🚩

Protect your day, your money, and your memories. Do your research, ask for references, and never be rushed into a too-good-to-be-true deal. 💔👰‍♀️
