🚔 Our Deputies were kept busy across the county this past Friday and Saturday, managing everything from winter road conditions to community safety checks. Here is a look at the numbers:

🚫 Public Safety: Deputies arrested a 53-year-old male for Felony OWI following a crash in Edenville Township. 🛑 We continue to urge everyone to drive sober or find a safe ride home.

🔦 Road Patrol: With several vehicles ending up in the ditch due to road conditions in Ingersoll, Lincoln, and Jerome Townships, please remember to slow down and give yourself extra travel time! ❄️

🐾 Animal Control: A dog owner in Ingersoll Township was cited for "dog at large" following a complaint. 🐕 Please ensure your pets are secure for their safety and the community’s.

🔍 Community Vigilance: Deputies investigated a report of "political propaganda" left in a Larkin Township driveway. 📸 Photos were taken and extra patrol was requested for the area.

01/10/2026 08:21 PM =Crash= Ingersoll Township - A Deputy was dispatched to an Ingersoll Township roadway reference a single vehicle crash in the ditch. The Deputy made contact with the 28-year-old driver who advised there was no damage to the vehicle, and had a tow truck on the way. Closed.

01/09/2026 11:18 PM =Felony OWI / PDA= Edenville Township - Deputies were dispatched to a Warren Township location reference an unknown crash. Deputies made contact with the 53-year-old male driver on scene. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the male was intoxicated. The male was placed under arrest for OWI, and lodged at MCJ without incident. A UD-10 crash report was completed. TOT PAO for review.
