I unfortunately don’t have video of this mess, but when our motor gave out we had to tow JaySea’s Legacy out to the island. However, I still wanted a couple of night shots out on the water. What you’re seeing here is literally me and a friend between JL and another pontoon that is actively pushing it out to open water for photos. It made for a good memory, but definitely not practical 😅

I went through 3 hot knives throughout this process. They aren’t typically meant to be run nonstop obviously but there was no slowing down for me. Often times, people tend to use the pink insulation foam board for projects like this but this 2 inch, high density foam board has been a saving grace. Covered with a little bit of waterproof wood glue makes it extremely durable while also keeping everything extremely lightweight.
