Wow, it’s been a little crazy around here, so this post is way late. Last weekend David and Stephen were at Tidewater Comicon and hopefully saw a few of you there. It was great to see so many art friends like Viva Valentina, DJ Jackson, Steve Howard, Bill Mckay, Jason Axtell and too many more to mention. Mike Federali puts on a great show if you haven’t been to one yet.
Awesome Con is done! Huge shout out to our friend and extraordinary artist DJ Jackson. He opened his house to us and we had a fantastic time hanging with him and the other guys on the Quad: Steve Howard, Phil Jean-Pierre, and Kevin Hunt.
Here’s a great shot of DJ chatting with us in his studio. @djjacksonsart #djjackson #awesomecon

Awesome Con is fast approaching, and Iconograph will be there at booth G15! Stephen and David are still taking preorders for commissions, so get your requests in early so they can make your very own piece of extra perty art.
Hey folks. Mark here. I need to make some quick cash, so I'm selling off three of my paintings, priced to move. These are some of my favorite pieces, and I hate to get rid of them, but desperate times...
Anyhow...they're pictured below.
Each piece is 11x17, multimedia (water color, colored pencil, acrylics...among other stuff). Suitable for framing.
I'd prefer to sell them for $150 a piece, but I'll definitely consider any fair offer.
As always, I'm always open for commissions as well, though I just started a new day job, so any commissions will require some extended turn around time.
If you're interested, drop me a note here or preferably on my personal FB account @ Mark Alan Peasley Thanks.
David and Stephen will be setting up at Awesome Con at the end of the month! They're taking advanced orders for commissions, so if you want to get an original piece from them, sign up now to give them time to make it extra great!
Also, it's Stephen's Birthday today!
VA COMICON day 2! Holy smokes Batman, the gang’s all here!
Hey all...we're all set up and drawlin' at the VA Comicon today and tomorrow, booth number B6. Swing by and say hi!
We’re taking advanced commissions for this weekends VA COMICON show. If you’re thinking of getting something from any of us, if you set it up early we can use that extra time to make it even better! drop us a note!
Just wanted to drop a quick note to announce that we'll be at the VA COMICON Two-day show this weekend!! It was a last minute thing, so I don't have the booth number yet, but I'll post that up as soon as I get it.
David and myself will be there both days, Lew may be as well, still waiting to hear from Stephen if he can make it (literally just finalized the deal a few hours ago).
If you're planning on coming down to the show, swing around and say hi! And grab a commission if you don't see something you like on the table!
More info as I get it! Thanks!

New trailer for the Krypton series coming to SYFY. I’m a big fan of worldbuilding, and this looks pretty interesting. What do you think? -Mark.

Something fresh from the desk of Lew. A Harley Quinn WIP. Looking pretty great, can't wait to see the finished piece!
Here's a recent commission I finished up. Lady Death as Slave Leia.
9x12 bristol - pen & ink, watercolor, & colored pencil.
Stephen pointed out to me that the Iron Fist in the cover image that I posted earlier today wasn't drawn by him, it was in fact David that drew that image. We apologize for the error and it's been corrected. Those responsible were given a stern talking too and were flogged with a wet noodle.
Happy weekend all!
Today we spotlight some early work by Stephen!
A Mara Jade piece he worked on during SheVaCon 20 (RIP) In Roanoke VA during the winter of 2011. This piece was such a hit with the fan who commissioned it that he went and showed it off to acclaimed author and SheVaCon guest - not to mention the creator of Mara Jade himself - Timothy Zahn, who liked it so much that he asked Stephen to do another version of this piece for his own collection! (can't recall if this is that one or the first one...either way, it's an awesome story!).
We're coming up on the 10 year anniversary of Iconograph!
To celebrate, I thought it'd be great to dig into the archives and pull out some artwork that we haven't shown before (or at least haven't seen in a while) to thank you all for sticking with us and being such loyal fans.
Here's a beautiful piece of digital art by Lew!

Hey all, Mark here again. Guess what?
For some reason it dawned on me that February 28th 2018 marks the 10th anniversary of Iconograph! (Technically it's February 29th, since that's when we officially formed the company, but there's no such date this year)
Will we be doing something special to mark the occasion? No idea...I literally just remembered it, but watch this space...you never know with us.
Also...since I'm sure you are all getting incredibly sick of me monopolizing this page with my art, I thought I'd dig back through the archives and see if I could find some oldies but goodies Dave, Stephen and Lew to show off.
Sadly, I can't find a lot of original art from the first few years, which I'm sure was lost in the tragic external hard drive suicide of 2009 (the damn thing literally jumped off my desk).
But I was able to find this incredibly poor photo of a really great Conan the Barbarian by David from 2009's Pittsburgh Comicon (RIP). Enjoy!
Hey folks, Mark here yet again.
Been digging back through the ol' archives again, and dug up this Starlord commission from way back in '14. I'm generally happy with the way this turned out, though I think I would have done the background a bit differently today.
Speaking of commissions, I've been pondering what to going rate for these things should be nowadays. The Starlord peice was a 9x12 I believe, which at the time was my comfort zone (staring at a huge blank sheet that someone expected me to fill was a very scary experience). Lately I've been branching out to larger pieces, trying to stay at least in the 11x14 range, but I also recently did a commission for a 16x20 piece and it made me want to go big!
Anyhow, what does everyone think is a fair price for full color commissions in the 9x12, 11x14 and 11x17 range?
Hey all, Mark here. I've still got a number of blank sketch covers available, if anyone is interested in a commission. Prices are still $50 per cover + $10 shipping and handling (this covers fees for packaging and Paypal. I'm looking into alternative payment options). If you don't see a sketch cover you are interested in, I can probably track it down for you, just send me a message here or at my personal account Mark Peasley and I'll see what I can find. Thanks!

Hey all - As we gear up for conventions this year, I started wondering what people are looking for in prints and original art this year. What's hot? What characters/tv shows/movies/etc. have you always wanted to see a print of?
