Today marks one year since my mom passed. I miss her so much, Everything about her. People say it gets easier with time and I know we have to go on living our lives but I don’t think it’ll ever get easier.
BUT
I know she’s in Heaven and that’s the only thing that gives me solace.

I’ve been wanting the classic mom tattoo for years but never did it. Mom always loved Italy so I thought what better place to get it done.

My mom Linda McNeill was diagnosed with a rare cancer “Thymoma”on the 8th of July.
She was admitted to the hospital and began aggressive chemotherapy immediately.
By the 28th the chemo had caused her heart, lungs, kidneys and finally her liver to fail so we took her home on hospice.
She had 2 great days of family coming to see her and she was so happy and felt so loved and special. She said it was her party.
A few days later on August 2nd she left this earth to be with the Lord. My dad, sister and I were by her side continuously until the end.
Selfishly we wanted to keep her forever but we know she’s free of all pain now.

There will be a memorial for mom on August 12th at 4:00.
