Rose State College is pleased to partner with Curative, an essential health services provider, to offer COVID-19 testing available via a drive-through test site located at RSC.

The test site will be open to all members of the community starting Monday, Oct. 11 - Friday, Oct 15 from 8AM to 5PM. 🧪#RoseState

Beginning Monday, October 11, Rose State College will be hosting a COVID-19 test site at the parking lot immediately west of the Student Union. This test site, operated by Curative, will be open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

This test site will be open to all members of the community (not just Rose State College) and is at no cost to the individual. The site will offer both PCR tests (with results in 24-48 hours) and rapid tests (with results in 15-30 minutes).

Costume Contest

Put together a costume with your own creativity. It can be spooky, creepy, funny, crazy or imaginative.
All Costumes are welcomed, whether they are homemade, magically summoned recycled parts of other, spawned, or even rented/purchased. But cannot be a distraction in class setting (i.e. sound effects or size of wings, etc.)
Costume with prop weapon (replica, face or imitation) must be tagged with ORANGE tape provided by CSA upon arrival.
Please keep your costume family-friendly. (No oozing, gooey, or dripping blood or body parts. No real weapons. No nudity/Excessive skin).
No costume may include derogatory terms/symbols, or hate speech of any kind.
Make sure to enter costume contest in your category (Student or Staff).
You must be between the ages of zero – 1000 to participate and not actually be dead. You can appear to be dead… but you must have a pulse.

When in doubt please refer to the College Policy and Procedure manual. Have fun! Win or lose it’s all about having a good time. – Classified Staff Association-Halloween Committee

Please join Residence Life in a spooky night of all things fun on October 27, 2021, for our annual Village Halloween Party! We will have trick or treating, pumpkin carving, a costume contest, food, and drinks for Village Residents. Residence life would like to invite all RSC Employees and departments to take part in the event by decorating a table and giving out candy. Residents are very excited about this event. Please bring your own candy for your table. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out either by email ([email protected]) or by giving Residence Life a call in housing at 405-733-7490.

On September 29th, from 12 pm to 8 pm, the Diversity Center will host a Mayan Artist on campus. Julio Cesar Batz Mendoza is visiting from Guatemala and will be displaying his art on campus. He will also have time to visit with students, faculty, and staff. Also, the Guatemalan Folklore Dance Group, Eterna Primavera, will perform at 7 pm. Interpreters will also be in attendance. There will also be $5 meal cards for students who attend. Art will be available for purchase.
