Public Schools Close in Juniata County

Just before 9 a.m. today, Juniata County School District made the decision to close due to the weather.

"Due to ongoing snow showers, blowing snow, snow-covered roads in our outlying areas, and hazardous conditions on many secondary roads, all schools will be closed today," according to a statement on the district website. "Although main roads are clear, the safety of our students, staff, and families remains our top priority."

CAN ANYONE HELP?

Recently, someone dropped off a change for a men's prayer breakfast event; however, we never received any information about this event and we did not get the name or phone number of ther person who stopped by. All we know is that the event that needed to be changed is on March 14 and the speaker is Rev. Ken Kitzmiller. Does anyone know who might be involved with this event? Please comment or call us at 717-436-1806. Thank you!
