Documents indicate former New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart used taxpayer money to fund her master's degree. An independent investigation launched by current Mayor Bobby Sanchez shows a 2021 memorandum of agreement was signed that allowed Stewart to be reimbursed 32-thousand dollars for graduate school tuition.
