Friends… it was one of those nights where sleep wasn't happening, and scrolling probably wasn’t the best idea… but there I was. And honestly? I’m kind of glad, because I stumbled onto something that feels like a little gift.

Over on YouTube, there’s a challenge just for us. So many of us struggle with our craft rooms and creative spaces. You’ve all watched me wrestle with mine for years. I’ve finally gotten somewhat of a handle on it, but let’s be real… there are still hot spots, and I want to keep going.

You’ve heard me talk about Dana K. White before, and this month she’s teaming up with Cara Brandon for a challenge called Craftspace Refresh. When I tell you it feels perfect, I mean it.

This week, they’re starting with your desk space. Just the desk. Not the whole room. One small, doable step.

So I’m asking… come on, friends. Let’s do this together. 💛 Let’s make 2026 the year our craft spaces begin to feel calmer, lighter, and more welcoming… places where creativity can breathe instead of overwhelm us.

These angel wings have been on my radar for a long time. Long enough to turn into a quiet nudge that wouldn’t go away.

I want to make a set I can actually wear.
Why? I honestly don’t know. Maybe because when I was a little girl, I always wanted to be an angel.
Which makes me laugh now… because I’ve always been more rebel than halo.

So maybe that’s the point.

Tattered feathers. Worn edges. Soft whites that have lived a life. An angel with a little grit. A little story. A little truth. I’m thinking time-worn, imperfect, and beautifully undone. Because sometimes wings aren’t about being perfect…
they’re about surviving, rising, and still choosing to fly.

Stay tuned. I'm gathering supplies because this one feels a little more than special. ✨

These antique Happy New Year postcards have traveled through decades to land here at my table, still whispering hope, joy, and new beginnings. I never realized just how many I had until I laid them all out. 😉

I’ve been dreaming up a Valentine’s display and these sweet lacey hearts keep calling my name. I’ve made little ones before… but this time I’m thinking big. Like old-fashioned chocolate boxes. 🍫🤍

The lace, tattered edges, gentle layers, and that pre-loved feeling I’m always drawn to so I’ll be creating a few of these to hang together. 💘

There’s something really satisfying about seeing progress take shape.

Kayla and I have been knee-deep in vintage ephemera today, sorting by color, categories… and honestly, a few “I’ll decide later” piles too 😉
This feels like real headway toward a 2026 fresh start in my studio, and I didn’t realize how much I needed this reset until I started. A clearer space, a clearer mind… and a whole lot of creative breathing room.

Do you do an end-of-year reset or reorganization too? If so, how’s it going for you? Still dreaming it up… halfway there… or already standing back admiring your progress? I’d love to hear. ❤️

As we move through the next couple days, I keep thinking about how not everyone has someone to share it with. Not everyone has a full table, a house buzzing with noise, or a place they feel they truly belong.

This time of year can feel especially heavy for those who are missing someone they love… or many someones. When we look back at Christmases past, they don’t always look the way they used to. And that can ache in quiet ways we don’t always talk about.

Maybe this is a gentle nudge to be a little more mindful. To send that text. To make that call. Or—heaven forbid—to show up with a plate of cookies and a warm hug. Sometimes the smallest gestures carry the most meaning.

It’s okay to make new memories. It’s okay to start new traditions. And it’s more than okay to seek out the people who truly care and hold space for you, just as you are.

You are not alone. And neither are they. 🎁

Some days my happy place looks peaceful and inspiring…

This is the part of creating no one puts on Pinterest—the piles, the scraps, the “I swear I know where everything is.”

At this point it would take a solid hour just to clear what you see… and we are not discussing what’s just outside the frame because I still have a shred of dignity left. 😂😂😂

I’m Michelle — the heart behind The Vintage Daisy — and I love creating with pieces of the past, telling stories through worn paper, old textiles, and forgotten treasures.

But beyond crafting…
✨ I love quiet mornings and cuddling Bella and Blossom - our rescue pups.
✨ I’m am the favorite daughter. Also an only child. 😁
✨ Getting lost on a dirt road is my idea of a perfect adventure.
