Nye and Shane had a fantastic time attending the Vermont Specialty Food Association Annual Meeting yesterday. It was a great day filled with insightful conversations. We are thankful for the opportunity to learn more about the current state of the specialty food industry and connect with so many of its innovators and leaders. Always a win when we get to spend the day learning, networking and sharing ideas in such a beautiful Vermont setting.

Happy Earth Day from Team AL!

This month, we took a deeper dive into sustainability—starting with a team-wide survey to learn more about our habits and interests both at home and at work. As a thank-you, everyone who participated got a pair of gardening gloves to keep the green vibes growing!

On Earth Day, we stepped outside to soak up some fresh air and give the AL grounds a little love with a quick clean-up. Every bag of trash picked up (at home or at work!) earned a ticket into our Earth Day raffle—talk about turning good deeds into great rewards!

Nice job, team—your time and energy literally made the world a cleaner, better place.

What do LED lights and our team at Amherst Label have in common? They know how to shine in any situation.

This week, that meant pushing through some less-than-ideal lighting conditions as we began a major upgrade.

Huge thanks to our amazing Willdan advisor, Eversource, and Mass Save for helping us take a big step toward sustainability! With this upgrade of 200 lights, we’re now a 100% LED-lit company — saving energy, reducing costs, and creating a brighter future.

A big thank you to our friends and partners at UPM Raflatac, Barry & Carl!

They joined us for a great Lunch & Learn, sharing their knowledge and teaching us about the anatomy of stock, from lamination to liner. It was a fantastic opportunity for our team to learn more about the different stock options Raflatac offers and see some sample printed products up close. Plus, we got to enjoy some pizza together!

It’s collaborations like this that help us continue growing and learning so we can better serve all your label needs. We're grateful for the partnership and all the insights shared.

After 20 years of dedication and hard work serving our customers, Andrea Philbrick is officially retired from Amherst Label!

We had a lunch featuring some of Andrea's Chinese food favorites, including crab Rangoon, fun fortune cookies and surprise visitors!

We'll miss Andrea greatly, but we're so happy she gets to enjoy her new freedom, spending her Mondays through Fridays with her beloved family.

Wishing her all the best in this exciting new chapter!
