Liam and I went took off for few hours in the in morning last weekend. We caught some really good fish. With rain the night before they were pulling water (creates current) for heavy evening showers. Had a beautiful overcast morning with water temps at 81 degrees it created an awesome day fishing. We were blessed with 18 bass and 2 catfish. 17 of the bass were 2lbs and larger. 3 were in the 3lb range one 4 pounder (it was bleeding so no pic had to hurry up and get it back to water) and the biggest being 5.6. Thank you lord for creating such a place and giving me the time and ability to spend with people that are special to me.

Only got to fish for a few hrs this morning. Did manage another chain pickeral and finally caught a bass. Its crazy this lake has been a struggle for me.

All loaded up. Heading to , hopefully we will catch our pb's in cat fish and bass. Ive never caught a striper so it would cool to catch one of those as well. We have new rods and reels and put alot of work into maintenance on the truck boat and trailer. Hope everyone has a great rest of the week and weekend.
