The team at Bright Antenna Records likes to keep things focused on our artists, but every now and then the label deserves a shout out too. Like this👉Bright Antenna has been recognized by Women in Music as one of the best places to work in the music industry out of 185 companies surveyed! The culture we have created here is intentional. Our team is fire and they deserve the biggest, sweetest high five for being integral to what Bright Antenna is and how we interact with and respect each other and our artists. 2026 is going to be lit! Behind the prep for PREP’s upcoming EP “One Day In The Sun” 👀 🏖️ Plus some album art lore from the band:

“The last album artwork was all about the desert so for this EP we thought it made sense to leave that behind, quit the desert and move on. The EP artwork is a surreal swimming pool/room, so we worked with .studio to create a similar scene. The first setup is us waiting for our transport to leave the desert and the next shots are us ‘inside’ the artwork. Finally, carrying on the water theme we did we a fake beachside shot with some fun props (shout out to the PREP beach towel). For the lyric videos we shot on 16mm film for a cool grainy texture. These shoots are always a load to think about but we got there in the end, wearing a bunch of the stylist’s cool dad clothes from the 90s.“

Statement from Bright Antenna Records:

What’s happening in Minnesota and around the country is reprehensible and unacceptable. The violent suppression and murder of people who are simply demanding safety, justice, and accountability must never be treated as normal or justified.

We stand with the protesters, and those defending the right to protest, and we condemn ICE and the actions of the current administration. Raids, detentions, and violence are destroying families, terrorizing communities, and unnecessarily ending lives—this is cruelty enforced by corruption and power, and a gross violation of human and Constitutional rights.

Our country’s strength comes from its diverse communities and from upholding justice for all.  We reject violence and repression, and we stand firmly on the side of dignity, kindness, safety, respect, and freedom for all.
