Yesterday really hit us hard. But after looking back through that post, we had to stop and remind ourselves just how incredible this year has actually been.

Because of your support, we’ve been able to spay and neuter over 1,000 pets in 2025. That means thousands of puppies and kittens will never know the suffering of life on the streets or the heartbreak of ending up unwanted in a shelter. That alone is a huge accomplishment.

And when we ran the numbers, we realized this year—hard as it has been—we have already saved 1,410 pets… with 3 more months still to go. That’s thousands of lives touched, changed, and given a chance they wouldn’t have had without you.

We’ve also had 670 adoptions so far. Dogs and cats who once waited months—or even years—in a shelter now have forever families. They are safe, loved, and home because of this community.

Yesterday was tough, and yes—we’re still exhausted. But focusing on these positives gives us the pep talk we needed to keep going. And we want you to know we couldn’t do any of this without you standing with us.

We still need the same things we asked for last night—donations, volunteers, shares, help with supplies—but today we’re also taking a moment to celebrate what we’ve done together.

Check out Lyle’s updated pictures below, too. He’s the emaciated boy found wandering a busy highway by a good Samaritan. Because of your support, we were able to say yes to him—and now he’s on his way to healing.

Some days old friends become customers and some days my customers become new friends.

Today, there were cameras that needed to be installed for an old friend from school. You can tell from the pictures that the old motion light has seen better days. It was great to see Karen Turk Marshall and help her and Gizmo feel more secure!
