The Lamar County engineer and County Wide crew are scheduled to replace a culvert on McAdams Road in Millport, on Monday, July 20th.
Make plans now to take a different route while work is being done.

We know many people are looking forward to the opening of the Gordo Bypass. However, the bypass is not yet open.

Construction crews are working hard to complete the project, and it is expected to partially open by the end of July if everything stays on schedule. Unfortunately, individuals who choose to drive on the bypass before it officially opens are creating safety hazards for the workers and delaying the completion of the project.

For the safety of everyone involved and to help ensure the project is completed as quickly as possible, we ask that everyone please refrain from using the Gordo Bypass until it is officially opened to the public.
