On Saturday, April 26th, a devastating incident took place in Vancouver during a Filipino street event. Tragically, 11 individuals lost their lives, and 20 others sustained critical injuries due to a vehicle collision.

My condolences to all who are experiencing the loss and hurt . I am grateful for the local organizations who are bringing us together to be in community and each other during this time.

You are invited to honor the Victims on Friday, May 2 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at San Jose City Hall. During this challenging time we must remember to hold one another and support each other in moments of grief.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity Public Service has provided me to lay a strong foundation for my career. This experience has been invaluable, and I will always hold it close to my heart. One of the greatest lessons imparted by my mentors has been the importance of embracing change, even when I feel at the pinnacle of my success. Sometimes, the best time to transition into new experiences is when you may feel you are at the top of your career .

I am privileged to take this leap, and I owe much of my progress to the unwavering support and hard work of my parents. The world truly feels like my oyster, and one of my first steps has been to invest my time in the Latino Leadership Club cohort. Being coached by remarkable individuals has been a transformative experience.

This program has not only shifted my mindset, but it has expanded my hope in humanity and connected me with a network of ambitious, intelligent, kind, and successful individuals who are committed to uplifting one another.

During our last session, we explored three powerful quotes about leadership that resonated with me deeply. I felt a wave of gratitude, realizing I wasn’t alone in my sentiments. Transformation occurs when we brave the unknown, reflect on ourselves honestly, and celebrate our unique stories. It’s crucial to own your narrative and cherish your achievements, while also being open to asking for help along the way.

I am sincerely thankful for the privilege of participating in this leadership program, as it has profoundly impacted my life in ways that words cannot fully express.

I am so pumped up and ready for this week and the opportunities that are in my horizon !

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of Rev. Moore. My condolences to his family, friends and all those who have been touched by him.
He led with a fierce heart, tenacity, and a true vision for humanity, Rev. Moore, thank you for touching the lives of so many. We recognize that God’s work is never easy, yet it is always worthwhile, even when one walks alone on the journey toward social justice. You never wavered and you showed us how to do the same. You reminded all of us of our responsibility as a community to support one another with love ,❤️bravery, and the importance of authenticity.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the countless times you came to bless our city and for your wisdom. I personally will always be grateful for your relentless support especially during the global pandemic . Rev. Moore, rest in power, and thank you for making this world a better place for all of us. 🕊️
