So very sorry to hear about the loss of lider seven for both his fans, and for his owners and riders. It’s never a good thing to lose a horse and I’m sad for the Lusitano breed that we won’t have him out competing anymore and showing off what the breed can do.

Super proud of our two boys Maverick Wright and APSL Cavalo Lusitano stallion Quiero KD during the FEI Youth clinic with Miss Sabine Schut-Kery by The Dressage Foundation and US Equestrian hosted at the beautiful Devonwood.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to train and learn in such a fun environment. Looking forward to many more great rides ahead.

The PNW has its first cases identified in the current cycle of the EHV/EHM outbreak. Please be vigilant. Even though these cases are NOT in dressage or working equitation shows/facilities, be mindful of multi-discipline boarding venues and shippers who might have had participants from these events on-board with your horse(s).

Continue to actively monitor your horse’s temps and keep an eye on any unusual behavior or symptoms consistent with this disease.
