A local author has released a new supernatural thriller, The In‑Between Town, and we’re exploring the possibility of developing it into a film. A screenplay is already in early development, and we’d love to hear your thoughts as the project takes shape.

I wanna thank the Spies family for giving us the opportunity to share our film to the community. I also want to thank our mayor of Milton-Milton-Freewater for saying some kind words in appreciation to the Spies family for keeping the Drive-in still going. And also I wanna thank everyone who was willing to come out last night to support the film and also the Brown's family for thier contribution. Thank you to all who donated to our local food bank. A good turn out of a round 30 cars showed up for the film. Thank you to all.

The city of Milton-Freewater invites you to come see a Documentary film about the orgins, the rise and fall of Drive-in theaters in America, and the history and resilience of the one Drive-in theater thar is still standing under the stars Thursday June 25th, 2026.

Suggested donation opportunity-All proceeds will go towards the Bread Basket, Helping low-income families in our community. Gates open at 8:00pm.
