It’s official!
kicks off next month. I rarely book anything ahead of time, but I have a target for the first part of the trip, so have to plan the first few days. Just to make it official, I booked a night in a hotel in Kearney, NE. The next day I will “wander,” but it will be with the target of getting to Williams, AZ the following day. That will be “home base” for a few days; Jackie will fly out to meet me and get to enjoy a little vacation time with me for some trips around the area that week. After that I will go wherever Natasha takes me the following week. I can’t wait to head out!

I hit a deer this morning while riding to work. Didn’t make contact with the bike, but good contact with my boot as it turned to run my direction from heading straight into me. A little quick shake of the bike, and we each went our separate ways. No damage done to man, beast, or machine.
