When Dan Coughlin ’21 wasn’t on the field for the Curry baseball team, he was likely honing his craft with a camera. Now a Sports Photographer/Camera Operator at NBC 10 WJAR in Providence, Dan has quickly become a familiar face in New England sports media. From covering the New England Patriots’ season to being on the ground for the Super Bowl and the Celtics’ championship run, Dan’s journey highlights the "real world ready" nature of Curry education.

"Curry gave me the repetitions and the confidence to walk into a professional locker room and feel like I belonged there," Dan reflects. Today, he’s living his dream, using his lens to document stories for viewers across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.

DiCicco of "Jordan's Rich Journey: A Path of Purpose, Strength, and Hope with Parkinson's." As many listeners know, Jordan was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease a couple of years ago.
