As much as I love winter running, this fall weather is pretty perfect. Makes it so much easier to lace up and head out for a few miles - there’s really no excuse to not get outside ☀️🍂

I was asked this Q in a work icebreaker this week: what’s your favorite fall guilty pleasure? Tell me yours!

Mine is eating all the Reece’s pumpkins 🎃 (I’m already partway through a bag)

Running has been on the back burner but I’m hoping a new season means a fresh start. There’s no destination at the moment - I just want to get back on track and moving along the journey 🏃🏻‍♀️

What are you working toward now?
After a break, how do you get back on track?

A bright sunny day that felt like the start of fall. I actually turned off my AC last night - overnight temps got down to the low 50s. Has me dreaming about cool, crisp miles while watching the leaves fall 🍂

Anyone else feel like fall is in the air?

I didn’t get outside yesterday so I’m reminding myself that a slow start to the week is better than not starting at all. Felt great to get out midday to move 🙌🏻

What a difference a day makes! Yesterday this time was pouring buckets with mega winds and hail on the way. A classic summer storm (with much needed rain). Today, it’s sunny and in the upper 70s with a pleasant breeze.

Just when I had given up on summer, I’m okay with it sticking around a little bit longer as long as it’s more days like today ☀️
