June TBR / Reading Update 🌟
I’ve been flying through books this month and loving every second!! If you don’t have a library card yet this is your sign!
Never Let Me Go - 4.75/5 ⭐️ would’ve been 5 stars but the middle was a bit slow and I found myself just wanting to get to the end. Beautifully written, amazing story, lovely characters.
Piranesi - 5/5 ⭐️ Wow!! What a fascinating and thought provoking story this was. I love the uniqueness of the plot and characters and would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a mystery.
The Pink Agave Motel - DNF; I only got through about six stories before quitting due to the typos in the book and just not vibing with it. Only two of the stories really stood out to me and they were super short. Maybe I’ll try again some day!
Beloved - Currently reading, almost halfway through and really getting into it.
The last book I’m hoping to finish this month is Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil, which I got from BOTM. It’s huge and I don’t see myself getting to anything else by the end of the month.
