For the last few years, I’ve been building something sacred — slowly & intentionally.

Rich Roots Village is:

• 🌾 A garden-based learning model teaching sustainability, food education & connection to Earth
• 🧒🏾 A child-centered approach rooted in respect, autonomy, and Christ-anchored values
• 🧩 A resource village for educators, parents, and community leaders
• 🎨 A creative hub for workshops, retreat experiences, and family empowerment

Everything we build is guided by one belief:

When we heal the parent, we free the child.
When we free the child, we transform the village.

Rooted Lesson #67

Hear me in the spirit:

You dont need to be the emotional container for everyone.

That was never assigned to you.

God has the father/mother.
God has the child.
God has you.

Your role is obedience and presence —
not omnipotence.

Every time you feel yourself spiraling into “I have to do everything,” you are stepping into a God led position you were never meant to occupy.

Because a child covered by a praying mother is a weapon Hell cannot disarm!

Rich Roots Village is proud to support Borchert Field Cares Harvest Fest — a community celebration dedicated to growth, wellness, and unity right here in the heart of 53206.

This event is a movement toward revitalizing our neighborhood through food, healing, and connection. Rich Roots Village has been sowing seeds of sustainability and conscious living, and Borchert Field Cares is helping those seeds bloom through land, leadership, and love for the people.

Join us Saturday, October 25th from 11 AM – 4 PM on 9th & 10th (across from the Mosque) for food, art, sound baths, music, and a celebration of our collective harvest.

This was the most wonderful experiences we’ve had at the Discovery World. I think on this trip we covered the most ground. Now that Marley is getting older, she is finding interest in some of the areas that we never ventured into before.

Like the virtual reality . What a cool experience for us both.

Or the flight and driving simulators. She describes how these things felt so real, exciting and even sometimes scary.

We also had a lot of fun in the robotics room . Learning about 3-D printing and programming code.

That was my absolute favorite .

We also explore the aquarium and I’m thinking that this video might need a Pt 2.

These are some really great benefits of our experience. Those who choose this for their families quickly learn that it requires:
