Over the past 5 years, I've been on a journey of learning how to create balance.

I've created a magical balance of body love, food freedom & ENJOYING my life to the fullest, without being weighed down by body shaming, guilt, and obsession around food and my weight.

This journey hasn't been easy, but it has been so worth it. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ™Œ

So how did I get here?

Through a combination of lessons from my past, empowering science, self-love, and mindset shifts.

I'm ready to share my full story and everything I've learned with YOU.

When you look in the mirror, do you wish you saw something different?

Do struggle to stay on track with your diet?

Are you feeling guilty when you reach for a cocktail on Friday night?

If you asked me these questions 3 years ago, I would have answered yes to all of them.

Since then, I've been on a journey exploring science, positive thinking, and self-love. I'm grateful for the lessons my past taught me.

Super Easy TIPS to Feel Great While Traveling ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ’–

I love to travel. This year Iโ€™ll be out of town a total of 13 times. ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ

And I love being in a place of food freedom as I travel, because I get to fully enjoy my trips and treat my tastebuds to awesome local food + drinks.

I never ever deprive myself. Ever! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿบ๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿน๐Ÿ•๐ŸŒฎ

But I still want to FEEL GOOD- even when I am indulging (guilt free, thank you v. much. ๐Ÿ˜‰)

Here are some of my fave tricks to stay balanced while traveling:

โฃ๏ธ Stay hydrated! ๐Ÿ’ฆ Itโ€™s easy to slip up on drinking water when youโ€™re traveling, but trust me, it makes a WORLD of difference- especially since we tend to consume more salt, sugar and alcohol on trips. Aim to drink MORE water than usual- especially when flying!! โœˆ๏ธ Itโ€™ll flush out bloat and boost your energy levels, along with like 3,327 other benefits. ๐Ÿ˜œ

โฃ๏ธ Get some greens. ๐Ÿฅฌ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅฆ Greens provide tons of nutrients, boost our immune system and raise our vibration. I try to include something green in every meal (think: side salad, an order of roasted veggies, etc.) I also do my best to grab a green juice daily (veggies only plz, + lemon or ginger to avoid super high fructose content ๐Ÿ‘Œ)

โฃ๏ธ Get some movement in! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ
Iโ€™m definitely not rigid about working out on vacation- but I do my best to stay active so I feel good- physically AND mentally.
Walking, jogging, biking, hiking or taking a class at a local studio is an awesome way to explore your destination. Scope out the best trails or classes ahead of time and schedule them into your trip. I personally love using ClassPass to drop into classes and check out new studios. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿšด๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

At the end of the day, itโ€™s all about balance. Listen to your body and always make choices from a place of love for yourself.

That way whether itโ€™s champagne or kombucha, chocolate mousse or kale, you canโ€™t go wrong. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Unconventional TIP For Effortless Weight Loss... ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ’–โœจ

(And I know that sounds like a loaded intro, but hear me out!! ๐Ÿ˜‰)

Itโ€™s a common misconception that losing some amount of weight will make you feel happier.

What if I told you it works the other way around?

My best tip for improving your health/ body composition is to find ways to FEEL good more often.

WHY is this so important??

TWO big reasons:

1๏ธโƒฃ When we FEEL good, (happy, joyful, grateful) our stress levels drop, and the body releases less cortisol (cortisol = the stress hormone, which is a fat-storing hormone.)
Negative emotions can manifest as weight gain and disease in the body. Even look at the word disease = dis-EASE.
When you experience more positive emotions day to day, it changes your body on a cellular level.

2๏ธโƒฃ When we feel fulfilled and satisfied in every area of our lives, the urge to engage in emotional eating, stress eating, and binge eating goes down DRASTICALLY.
When my clients are struggling with emotional eating or binging, itโ€™s never really about the food.
They are seeking something else- and trying to fill an emotional void with food (and food never actually does the trick, right?)
So we find out how to *effectively* fill that void, and P**F- emotional eating patterns often disappear. ๐Ÿ™

When I work with clients, we do not get fixated on weight loss.
Thereโ€™s no dieting, no tracking, no numbers, no scale. I believe all of those things actually do more harm than good. ๐Ÿšซ

Instead I help my clients create balance and joy in every area of their lives- as well as healing, reducing stress, and releasing whatever is not serving them.

We are essentially releasing energetic weight- which results in physical changes.

Weight loss, more energy, and better health is the BYPRODUCT of feeling good.
It is truly amazing to watch! (And 1 of the 33,199 reasons I love my job! ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿค—)

Every day focus on feeling good first, and watch that magic that unfolds when you change your health & body from the inside out. โœจ๐Ÿ™Œ
