While I love exploring all the things, I also really love hosting a good party. ✨
It’s been a while since I hosted a true dinner party, so for my birthday I went all in—100% DIY, made with love, and very on-theme.

I had to share because it turned out pretty great if I do say so myself. 🌙💫

While it didn’t make the feature an Italian pasta bar with three sauces, two pastas, chicken marsala, homemade bread, and plenty more… proof that celebrating yourself can be just as beautiful as celebrating others.

Cheers to good food, good people, and a very celestial birthday night. 🥂♑️

✨ Girls’ weekend…but make it a day trip!
Lake Geneva is just under an hour from Milwaukee, and honestly it felt like we were transported straight into a festive little world at Santa’s Lakeview Lounge. 🎄✨

Festive fits, cozy corners, holiday cocktails, and the cutest spots to gather, sip, and snack on delicious shareable bites. The perfect quick escape with the girls — close to home but giving total holiday-vacay energy. 💖❄️

Shoutout to the amazing team at for being such kind hosts this past weekend.

I throughly enjoyed getting to learn more about the restaurant, your menu, and each one of you.

The brunch menu is great featuring a wonderful assortment of savory brunch items (my personal go to for brunch).

Featured items: Pearlscent Blossom, Mischief Bacon, Birria Beef Egg Rolls, Churro Pancakes, Nashville Hot Chicken Benedict, Beef Birria Benedict, Plantain Crème Brûlée and Seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake

It was also a pleasure of course connecting with fellow foodie and learning more about his experience in the foodie world.

Brunch at with was such a vibe! Loved getting to know each other while diving into their seriously delicious brunch lineup.

We kicked things off with the Mischief Bacon (savory, sweet, and so worth ordering!) and of course we had to try the Birria Egg Rolls—a staple across all their menus and their Troublemakers food truck. Total must-try.

Dominic went bold with the Nashville Hot Chicken Benedict— the fried chicken is made fresh upon ordering creating a perfectly crispy and tender chicken. I couldn’t resist the Beef Birria Benedict, and oh my… the flavor combo plus that perfectly poached egg? Chef’s kiss 👩‍🍳

And you know I had to finish with something sweet. Their seasonal pumpkin cheesecake with a sugar cookie crust was the perfect ending. If you spot it on the menu, don’t hesitate—get it! ✨

😊 Feeling so thankful today — for everything this year has brought for One of a Kind Milwaukee. Grateful for the love from family and friends, the incredible businesses who’ve collaborated with , and every single supporter, follower, and listener who shows up for this community. 🤍✨

Thankful for the memories made, the experiences shared, and of course… all the delicious food along the way. 🥂🧡
