12/25 10:27pm: Hope you had a great Christmas! Rain ends by 8am, but dense fog is possible. Cloudy and mild on Friday with highs in the 40s. More fog possible Saturday AM, otherwise dry with highs in the 40s. A stronger system comes in late Saturday night through Monday morning. Rain on Sunday changing to snow on Sunday night. Depending on the changeover and how much moisture there is, we could see some accumulation Sunday night into Monday morning. Cold and windy on Monday with highs in the 20s. The roller coaster continues!

6:10pm Thursday: Heads up if you have friends/family in northern/central Wisconsin and especially Michigan. Freezing rain is likely in these areas tonight into Friday, with icy roads expected. For southeastern Wisconsin, we will stay above freezing, so we will be all rain. Around 0.10"-0.25" of rain is expected overnight through 8am. We will see some dense fog overnight into the morning. -Tom Wachs

Southern Wisconsin stays mild through the end of the week, with rain likely across the entire area tonight into early Friday.

12/24 Clouds and patchy fog heading into early Christmas morning. Christmas day will be cloudy to mostly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 30s with wind chills in the upper 20s. After midnight on Friday, rain is favored with our next event, but there is a slight chance for some freezing rain near Fond du Lac and Sheboygan counties if the temps are cold enough. The rest of Friday and Saturday are mild and dry. A stronger system looks to arrive Sunday which could bring rain with a transition to snow as temperatures drop in the afternoon. Cold winter temperatures return in the teens to low 20s on Monday with blustery conditions making it feel below zero.

12/24 9:03PM Tracking additional low level moisture moving into southeast Wisconsin. This can bring and isolated shower or drizzle to a few spots especially near the WI-IL border. Precipitation impacts will be minimal. As winds have become calm, patchy fog is forming in some areas with dense fog in the Midwest and South. Rudolph will be using his bright nose to help Santa tonight!

12/24 4:19PM A mild Christmas Eve forecast with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. There is a slight chance for an isolated shower/drizzle. Temperatures will drop for areas north of I-94 early Christmas morning- that can lead to a small chance for a few slick spots.
