❄️ MILWAUKEE SNOW EMERGENCY ENDED ❄️
The City of Milwaukee’s Department of Public Works DPW Milwaukee has officially ended the Snow Emergency as of December 2, 2025.
Crews are still out clearing snow and ice & LEAVES! — focusing on corners, intersections, pedestrian access points, and areas that need extra attention. The emergency parking rules are no longer needed.
🚗 PARKING UPDATE
If your block normally allows two-sided overnight parking, you can resume parking on both sides tonight (Dec. 2).
Winter parking rules now remain in effect through March 1, 2026:
✔️ Always read posted signs — they take precedence
✔️ “No Parking Dec. 1–March 1” zones are fully active
✔️ No parking on through highways & bus routes from 2 a.m.–6 a.m.
✔️ Overnight parking permits are required on all city streets

🗑️ GARBAGE & RECYCLING
Collections resumed today. Crews are working 10-hour shifts to catch up after Monday’s pause.
Residents should:
1️⃣ Set carts out on your regular day and leave them out until collected
2️⃣ Clear snow from the top, around, and in front of carts — carts buried in snow can’t be picked up
