If you've seen Black men on horses riding down Milwaukee streets, then you've probably encountered The Black Cowboys and Buffalo Soldiers Association. The organization was founded by Issac Steele, a third-generation Black cowboy. For generations, Steele has been keeping the history of the Buffalo Soldiers and Black cowboys alive in Milwaukee. Kevin Nichols is a new-generation Black cowboy, a part of the organization. Together, they’re preserving history while introducing Milwaukee’s youth to the world of horses.

New filmmaker Natalie Derr felt Steele's work deserved more documentation, so she created the film "Forged by Steele" starring Steele and Nichols.

"Forged by Steele" is funded by a JOY grant and is expected to premiere at the Oriental Theatre in Milwaukee in March 2026. Read more below.

James Etienne is a man of mentorship. Etienne helped mentor over 80 Amazon employees and has launched an internal Black Men’s Mental Health podcast at Amazon to help Black men process their emotions. As a Global Sales Executive at Amazon Web Services, he helps Fortune 500 companies leverage cloud technology, but for him, it's about being a helping hand.

We have officially partnered with Amazon.com to produce a monthly "Amazon Series" to highlight the human beings behind the brand.

Award-winning producer Zaytoven Beatz is seeing his legacy come to life with the release of his son Zayskii's project "XMAN"; Zaytoven produced the project. The father-and-son duo held a listening party at Rolling Out's office in Atlanta, where they shared an intimate conversation moderated by Zaytoven's daughter, Olivia.

On October 22, 2025, announced their Smart Delivery Glasses for their delivery drivers. The Smart Delivery Glasses is meant to be a companion and make the driver’s life easier. Currently, 100s of Amazon drivers have tested the glasses. The glasses have tent to protect one’s eyes from the sunlight, with the option to add your own prescription so you can wear them at all times. carvdnstone
