On August 12, 2026, Spain experienced its first total solar eclipse in more than a century. 🌑🇪🇸
As the Moon’s shadow swept across northern Spain just before sunset, Edgar Canet timed it perfectly aboard his KTM, lining up the ride with totality for these epic shots captured by ᴍᴀʀᴄᴇʟᴏ ᴍᴀʀᴀɢɴɪ 📷. 🏍️🌑
With the sun sitting low on the horizon and totality lasting nearly two minutes in some areas, it made for a pretty unreal backdrop.
And Spain isn’t done yet. Another total solar eclipse crosses southern Spain on August 2, 2027, with some locations getting more than 4½ minutes of totality.
