From left photojournalists and editors John Klein, Gary Porter, Rick Wood, Karen Kenyon, Paul Roberts, Sarah Tews, Steve Apps, and Benny Sieu joined family and friends at a celebration of Bill Lizdas, Saturday, October 19th at Blue Mounds State Park. Lizdas was a photojournalist at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Racine Journal Times and La Crosse Tribune and Green Bay Press Gazette during his career. He passed away recently.

This event at the Wisconsin Black Historical Society/Museum at 2620 West Center Street Milwaukee, WI 53206 on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019 at 6 pm, will feature area photographers as they shares their work and experiences as a photojournalist. The event is free and open to all.
