This one is not a surprise. "Real Soul: A Gospel Music Story" was also nominated for best score/soundtrack at The Beloit International Film Festival. I cannot take any of the credit for this, however. This is 100% on the tremendous singers and musicians featured in the film. I just pointed the camera at them. Also, special thanks to John Sieger who provided the score.

As part of this year's festival they are having exclusive screenings of select films and ours will be shown this Wednesday, Jan.6th at 6:30pm followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
