When I created Parable Productions, the vision was always larger than publishing a book or producing a single show.
The vision was to build stories that could move across publishing, theatre, film, television and digital experiences while carrying one consistent message: the transforming hope of Jesus Christ.
NEW was the first time that full vision became tangible.
The production was inspired by As I Fix My Crown and Raging War. It brought publishing and theatre together. It extended into the city through the Hunt for 4 Letters of Upliftment. It became a Kingdom Collaborative with ACFI Ministries. It created a place for artists, authors, volunteers, local businesses and the church to participate in the same story.
The The Frederick News-Post featured the production in its event calendar and published a separate article about the scavenger hunt and the experience it was leading towards.
I am grateful for the coverage because it helped people understand that NEW was never designed to be an ordinary theatrical performance.
It was an encounter built intentionally from the street to the sanctuary.
