RIP Bob Power. 😔
I worked with and for him on scores of sessions for India Arie, Syleena Johnson, Citizen Cope, D’Angelo, Meshell Ndegeocello, Erykah Badu, and a whole bunch of others in the 00’s, mostly at Sony Music Studios in NYC. He was a wonderful mentor, and a funny, kind and generous human being. We had a lot of fun on those gigs, and I’ll always be grateful for his insights, advice and friendship. The world just became a little bit less funky. 💔
